Mission Statement:
To educate and empower today’s youth with confidence, commitment and integrity, so they can live a productive and successful tomorrow. Our goal is to teach young athletes respect for themselves, their peers, the coaches and officials and most importantly their community by instilling a code of ethics built on HONESTY, RESPONSIBILITY, TEAM WORK and SPORTSMANSHIP.
Philosophy:
Our philosophy is to provide as many young athletes the opportunity and chance to develop their skills, learn life lessons and enjoy the game of basketball. Opportunities are available for a recreational player looking to enhance their skills while playing for fun, to an advanced player with a competitive desire and passion to become a complete player both physically and mentally.
Goals:
- Ensure the players and youth are put first and foremost
- Provide a safe, fun, and competitive learning environment for all levels of youth athletes
- Build a sense of pride within the community and organization
- Ensure fair and equitable treatment of all players, coaches, and administrators
- Help build the emotional, physical, and mental characteristics developed through athletics
- Emphasis on working hard and doing things the right way allows the adolescents to build character and self-esteem at an early age and ingrains the belief that the impossible becomes possible when coupled with an excellent work ethic.
